In Child Psychology the early Childhood Years are called ‘Formative years. We believe that in this is the time the foundation is laid for the child’s life values, habits (discipline), thinking patterns (Logic, reasoning, memory), and attitudes, social -mental - and emotional skills. We therefore need to create such learning and developing environment for the preschool students that they can develop these skills at their best.

Glorious 20+ years of Experience in Teacher Training
One year course at ECEC has been one of the best experiences for me so far. I have learnt a lot and learnt in such an amazing way. ECEC has given me so much to remember and cherish but one of them has to be the way of learning there, it was so much fun and exciting that I didn't realise we spent a year there. We were there for a year however they made us feel like we were a part of the organisation. They did not just teach about Child Development but they taught us different other skills like leadership, collaboration, communication that will be useful wherever we go. ECEC made me ready to go and face the world, tackle the challenges gracefully and bring some positive changes in education. I would like to extend my gratitude to ECEC for such an overwhelming and one in a lifetime experience. I will forever be grateful to the team, my friends and the amazing teachers for the experience.
I have done B.Ed. in Primary Education and worked under the ministry of education (Bhutan) for 24 years. In 2013 I resigned and established my own ECCD centre in Paro, Bhutan. I have attended 10 days basic course on ECCD and 5 days course on early literacy and mathematic skills in my country. I felt that the training which I had gone through was not enough because I have always wanted to learn more and support my center and staff. I along with few of my staffs attended the 5 days pre-primary Level-1 training in December 2018 at ECEC. This training has given us more ideas especially putting theories into practice. We found this method very much practical. We are very much confident enough to run our centre with playway method. I have taken this profession by choice and I would like to recommend other caregivers, facilitators to learn from ECEC, Nepal.
Teach Nepal Project has supported schools in the Annapurna Conservation area, most in and around the village of Ghachok and the upper Seti valley, since April 2015. In December 2021 we decided that we needed to organise teacher training in Nepal with a reliable organisation experienced in working with the teachers in their own language, and with a solid knowledge of the Nepalese curriculum. Our experiences working with the ECEC have been very positive. Requests are answered promptly and politely. Information is detailed and suggestions are made on how best to plan future training courses. We have full confidence in the team. I can recommend the ECEC organisation without reservation to deliver professional and appropriate training courses pitched at the right level and pace.
